One More Thing

WE ARE GETTING MARRIED IN

NINE MONTHS!!!

Said Yes to the Dress !

Last Thursday I was viewing the website for Traditions by Anna, a bridal boutique in Raleigh.  They specialize in having unique and upscale bridal designers.  It just so happened they were having a Sample Sale.  I quickly called to see if I could set up an appointment for that evening.  They had an opening for 5:30 - I took it!

Well, I tried on four dresses and wouldn't you know fourth one is the charm!  I put it on and just knew... it was perfect.  The fit was perfect.  The dress felt absolutely right and wonderful and all those fabulous feelings that are talked about with "finding the one."

A champagne toast and the dress was purchased that evening.  There was no need for second guessing - I had found my bridal couture gown!

OBSESSED

I am obsessed with the OLYMPICS.  I love love love love them.  My memories spread throughout my childhood of the whole family gathering in the living room to watch the Opening Ceremonies. Throughout the years it was our family tradition.

I have such an appreciation for the athletics and their dedication to their sports.  I mean, it is not like everyone has the genetic makeup to be a great athlete.  I clearly do not - however growing up I dreamed that I would be apart of the Equestrian Team.  That obviously did not happen.

There is something about the feeling one gets with the Olympics.   Olympic Creed:"The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well."

Goosebumps.

My top favorite Olympic Sports Favorites:
1.) Equestrian - Clearly
2.) Gymnastics - I'm so intrigued by these 4'11" people.  I failed as a child gymnast, I think it has something to do with coordination and side of I've always taken after the Jolly Green Giant in the height department.
3.) Swimming - Michael Phelps need I say more?
4.) Diving - You are going to jump off of that and do flippy things in the air?  I salute you and your nonexistent fear of belly flopping into a pool of water.
